Avantage de connaître le hongrois
L'autre jour sur une radio que l'on a trop souvent (et injustement parfois) décriée sur ce blog et que je ne nommerai pas, j'entendis un morceau terrible. Il s'agissait d'un groupe hongrois de progressif "Omega".
Le lendemain, je me mis à chercher des morceaux de ce groupe sur le net. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise lorsque je découvris que la plupart des compositions avaient été enregistrées en anglais et en hongrois !
Cette dernière langue n'étant pas, selon moi, faite pour le rock progressif, je tentai de débusquer les titres dans la langue de Shakespeare. Et c'est là que je rencontrai quelques problèmes : comment connaître la signification de "200 évvel az utols˘ h borŁ ut n" ou de "A Hatalom Szˇnh za" voire même de "Kiskar csony-nagykar csony kérgeskezû fav gok".
Afin de résoudre ce problème, je m'inscrivis le soir même à un cours accéléré de hongrois. Le prof me fit remarquer que "Omega" était un nom grec. Je lui répondis que je n'éprouvais aucune difficulté dans cette langue. J'avais le livre du régime de Demis Roussos.
